It is good overall, switched to another provider only because of promo deal

Pros

Stable connection, good customer service, fast problem solving, reasonable price. Easy and fast service cancelation on an open term contract.

Cons

1. We were waiting for the installation for 1 month (probably Chorus' fault). 2. The hotline is useless. 3. No option to change plan by yorself - have to contact customer service and wait (2 days in my case). 4. No perks

BigPipe have been great, I'm only switching because they were massively undercut by my new provider. Would say they're second best value and the one off fee for a static IP is awesome.

They Cut off broadband and phone with only 24 hr notice only warning was automated. I had been paying $100 a month so had no idea the account was in arrears. No email warning. No email statements only way to check is online. I have a St. John’s medical alert so was very worried about not having it on. I had 4g wireless from Skinny. Really quick and easy setup. Not bad speed - around 20m. Gets a bit slow in the summer when there’s heaps of people

Good when vdsl and fibre aren’t available

Cons

Low data limits and no unlimited plan so can get expensive if you watch a lot of video
