In July, 2degrees made a change which broke my VDSL internet entirely. After several calls and several pieces of bad advice we were finally able to get it working again. However, our download speeds had dropped from a consistent 125 Mbps to 40 Mbps. Several more emails and calls over the coming months lead nowhere except to the same confused and incorrect advice from their end. Eventually, the speeds began frequently declining to 20 Mbps, then ultimately 10 Mbps. We procured a second 2degrees FritzBox on our own and factory reset it - still the same terrible speeds. Eventually after 6 months of putting this off I've switched to Voyager and my speeds have instantly returned to 100 Mbps~ using the same router. No one at their end cares in the slightest, they couldn't even feign concern or muster any effort whatsoever throughout this entire process. 2degrees is a terrible company that I will never deal with ever again. ...read more

I’ve been with Now ever since they started as a small company in Napier. I wouldn’t change for anything. Even if they were more expensive than others (which they definitely ARE NOT) the personal, quick, efficient service you receive over the phone is worth everything. The service sets these guys apart from the competition. It’s not often you need help, but when you do, it’s imperative you feel confident and not stressed. Now has consistently been extremely helpful whenever I’ve had a as hiccup.
Pros
Excellent customer service
Cons
Can’t think of any

50% off for 6 months is a good deal for 1 year contract. It is also good to note that the monthly bill was increased before the end of the contact period. For me it was only for 3 months. But if it happened before that I believe I would be far off from my initial calculation.

These guys are local and can understand your requests over the phone. Yes you could go to a competitor and save or get more value but I believe we need to support local businesses that provide good service. I’m happy to stay with NOW. Thanks team
Pros
Best customer support
Cons
Competitors offer tempting packages but customer services are off shore…

From day 1 they were painful to deal with messing up the order 3TIMES! Its hilarious on their website when you want to connect with them "We don’t have a phone number for customer support because waiting on the phone is slow and frustrating. Live chat is a much faster way to get help" When you do you can expect to repeat yourself 10 times, and wait at least 5minutes before each response and when you do get a response with who ever is on the other end , they are not in anyway informative or communicative rarely answering any actual question, which is beyond enraging. using the Care@zeronet address has most of the emails bouncing back as undeliverable if if you reply to theirs directly. Id say they are cheap because the service is appalling. Coupled with the SLOW. Im using the same Router and ONT and since moving to my new ISP with same package Im actually getting the bandwidth I was paying for. ...read more

We haven’t had many issues but when we do these guys are great. Very helpful and patient and see the issue through to resolution. I see Nathan has already been mentioned … we struck him this time and he was great. Would recommend this company to others.
