English not always a first language with support staff so communication not always clear but seem technically competent. Maybe a crash course in Kiwi-isms could be developed
Pros
Cheap, fast (enough for browsing / video, no idea about gaming)
Cons
Few teething issues with setup, particuarly regarding the VOIP line

Glad to be back with them.
Pros
This is my 2nd Skinny period. Their broadband is easy to set up, great value and the support's been good too. Speeds are if anything faster than Spark which I used for a few months. Spark didn't send me all the cables I needed, and the speeds were hopeless. ...read more
Cons
There are a few glitches on their website, involving their login and card verification procedures. Fortunately their call centre was much better.

Periodically is slowed down. By comparison with my overseas experience, so-called Ultra Fast does not even come close to what I have experienced.
Pros
Good after-sales service, and good attention to issues.
Cons
Intermittent speed, and does met my expectations os "Ultra fast".

I was an Actrix customer (until taken over by Voyager) and nominally remain an Actrix customer of 17 years.
Pros
Voyager (Actrix) have continued the excellent high-level customer support available from their Help Desk. Although I have an IT background, I would especially recommend them as an ISP for people who struggle with technology as they are very patient with those who find technology difficult. ...read more
Cons
Chorus own the UHF radio-link to our rural district, and the cabinet. The gear in this cabinet, and backhaul equipment, is old and needs replacing but Chorus aren't willing to do this. Voyager/Actrix help desk have identified the problem, but don't seem especially interested in pursuing this with Chorus on behalf of customers. So we are stuck with an an average speed of ...read more

Worst ISP ever. Buyer beware. They force direct debits on you, they don't keep their plans current with competitors, their website is badly designed, customer support is patchy and you must WRITE to them to end your contract 30 days in advance. I have left them and moved to another ISP yet they still got a free month's worth of payments out of me.
Pros
Speed and reliability isn't bad
Cons
Everything else is a mess

helpful
Pros

Cons
will not consider bundling the two properties we own (using the same ISP) to negotiate cheaper rates

Pat Pritchett 5.6
The speed is under 10 at times and means spreadsheets won't open and there is often a delay in getting onto google. Also drop outs occur at the beginning of logging in.
Pros
Inclusion of landline and free 03 calls
Cons
Slow speed, drop outs, customer service which is so much worse than snaps, it predecessor.
