Coming back to leave another review because 2 months after cancelling my account with 2 Degrees, they are still giving me trouble. I cancelled my account with them because they hiked up their prices which voided their contract's early termination fee, but they continued to send me an invoice for another month + termination fee despite confirming with customer service over the phone that I wouldn't have to pay anything.
I called them again to try and sort this out but appa
rently they have no record of this. They said they'd waive the early termination fee as if they weren't supposed to do it in the first place then continued to try and get another $99 out of me for a month of internet they never provided.
The situation was only resolved once I mentioned that I had a recording of the last phone call I had with customer service where they explicitly told me that I wouldn't have to pay anything once my account was cancelled.
This is all on top of the fact that it took them 2 months to get us connected in the first place. You can read all about that in my previous review from August.
Save yourself the trouble and go with literally any other ISP. 2 Degrees is a nightmare.
If you do end up having to use them for whatever reason, i recommend recording every call you have with them because they apparently don't keep track of anything. ...read more
