What is Black Friday

Black Friday originally started in the US, but has been adopted in many countries as a day where shops and retailers offer massive discounts and deals to their customers.

On Black Friday shops and retailers usually offer great sales and discounts. You are likely already familiar with scenes from America showing people queuing through the night or trying to break the doors down before shops open to get a great bargain.

Although Black Friday is typically an epic shopping day following a US holiday, it has spread around the world as an online shopping phenomenon.

Do they have Black Friday Sales in NZ?

Absolutely! Although Black Friday is an American tradition, it’s become a popular shopping day in New Zealand too.

Luckily we take a much more civilised approach to Black Friday in New Zealand without the crowds, it is mainly a day to nab great deals and discounts online. International brands led the trend of offering Black Friday Deals online, but New Zealand brands are increasingly getting in on the action.
